Periosoft tips are made of a plastic alloy to perform an implant and prosthesis maintenance without scratching or damaging the surfaces. In Implant maintenance, the use of Periosoft tips prevents the retention of bacterial deposits and reduces the risk of periimplantitis. On ceramic prosthesis and veneers, those tips remove biofilm and loosely adhering deposits while preserving prosthetic surfaces. The Periosoft tips are also ideal for scaling procedures on patients with brackets. The new material of Periosoft tips makes them more efficient and resistant, however, they must be used at a very low power setting and with as little lateral pressure as possible.
